In some judicial districts, Driver Improvement gives the opportunity to take a training course proposed by the public prosecutor. These training courses are subject to a fee and make it possible to replace the fine, reduce the penalty or even close the case without further action.

The "speed" module is held during an afternoon during which you receive information on speed limits and identify the advantages and disadvantages in a group. Then, one day, you will go on a circuit where you will be confronted with the physical restrictions of excessive speed regardless of your driving ability. Finally, we plan an evening session in which we discuss your future speed behaviour in accordance with what you learned in the previous session.

A payment without having filled in the electronic part below does not automatically ensure your registration!

The "light intoxication " module lasts two afternoons during which we look at the risks associated with driving under the influence of alcohol.

The "road accident involving vulnerable users" module also lasts two afternoons. We examine together the nature of the offence: where, when and why. The objective is to better understand the possible consequences of inattention while driving and to become more aware of potential victims. In addition, we are formulating concrete measures to encourage safe and defensive driving.

For whom?

The “Speeding: let’s take the time to think about it” is suggested if you have committed a major speeding violation. In this case, you will receive an invitation from the public prosecutor. You are not required to take this training course.

The "light intoxication" module is specifically aimed at drivers with a lower BAC and is offered to drivers who have committed a first offence of driving under the influence.

The "road accident involving vulnerable users (VKO)" module is intended for people who caused a road accident involving a vulnerable road user. The offender committed a 3rd degree offence. There is also no obligation to take part in these modules.

Where can you follow a training course?

Speeding Module: Liège, Mons, Tournai
Light intoxication/VKO: Brussels
